BioGEVES a été désigné LNR pour la détection d’OGM dans le maïs (semences) et soja, colza et lin (semences et parties végétatives) par arrêté du 19 octobre 2011.

Missions et mandat

BioGEVES a été désigné LNR pour la détection d’OGM dans le maïs (semences) et soja, colza et lin (semences et parties végétatives) par arrêté du 19 octobre 2011.

La détection et la quantification d’OGM sont réalisées entre autres pour le compte du Ministère de l’Alimentation, de l’Agriculture et de la pêche, selon les méthodes publiées par le laboratoire européen de référence (European Union Reference Laboratory for GM Food and Feed).

En tant que laboratoire national de référence, BioGEVES est présent au sein du réseau européen des laboratoires d’analyse d’OGM (European Network of GMO Laboratories) et de ses groupes de travail.
