Plant Health Laboratory Day – 29 June 2023

In association with the Laboratory Office and the Plant Health Office of the DGAL (Ministry of Agriculture), GEVES and ANSES co-organised the annual meeting of official plant health laboratories in Angers. This meeting brings together the National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) for plant health – ANSES, France AgriMer and GEVES – and the approved laboratories of the various networks corresponding to the plant health mandates carried out by the 3 NRLs.

On 29 June, almost fifty people attended the series of presentations: news from the NRLs (technical support activities with the scheduled assessment of laboratory suitability, methodological developments completed or in progress, etc.); information shared by the DGAL on changes to the framework instruction for SV laboratories carrying out official analyses, and the results of official tests.

The afternoon was spent on a technical visit to the ANSES Plant Health Laboratory and the GEVES laboratories involved in plant health.
