12th annual seminar of VCUS experts from European Offices

 On 26-28 June, the Belgian offices (ILVO and CRA-W) organised the annual meeting of VCUS experts from 17 European examination offices in Gand. The group exchanged on the main evolutions in the VCUS systems of each country. Regarding ongoing cooperation, GEVES presented the actions planned for the project H2020 Rustwatch (cereal rust). As part of the working session on new methods for plant phenotyping, GEVES presented its work on Fusarium head blight (See Project IRIGAM). The group also discussed the new European organic farming regulation. Discussions on the issue of organic farming testing will continue at the next seminar in 2019.
